We
will hike to the Panayacu River, whose name means Piraña!!!
and we explore a remote section which virtually no one
has ever traveled. It is spectacular. Next, we paddle
for a few hours, in places ducking under low-hanging
canopy, hacking with the traditional machete, until
we arrive at another trailhead. Here we hike once more
to the Indian community of Sane Isla. (Trip subject
to river conditions). Hopefully, we will be able to
see how they live, what they farm, etc. (B-L-D)
